Quality Workmanship &
Highly Sophisticated Tools
At Savage Precision our first
priority is quality
workmanship. For this reason we are continuously
incorporating the latest technology in equipment
and software to fit our customers' requirements.

Internal expediter Bob Ogle inspects
jobs for
quality and makes sure they are on time.
We have fully implemented statistical process
control
on the shop floor supported by ongoing training and
software to evaluate machine capability. We recently
purchased a video shadowgraph
machine to comple-
ment our precision sheet metal fabrication operations.
We have coordinate
measuring systems to work
our precision machining and turning operations.
Because of our military business and dedication
to professionalism, our clean room
environment is at class 10 or better.

Quality Work Pays Off
Rapid Growth At Savage
Until 1988 the
company focused its efforts on
the semiconductor industry and work for Texas
Instruments. Savage Precision
did machining,
sheet metal and assembly work on the Harm
missile along with other defense
related contracts.

Notice that the shop floor is clean
enough to eat from.
Since then
it has expanded with work from Boeing,
Raytheon Systems (Hughes) and Lockheed,
(the
developers of the F16 Fighter program,
and later on
the F22 Fighter program) along with numerous
commercial customers.
Quality Control
We are qualified to Mil-I-45208A and SPC certified by
Lockheed Martin. And by September 1999 we will
bring our Q.C. manual up to ISO 9002 compliance.
Our quality control department has over
45 years of
experience in inspecting close
tolerance military
specification fabrication and machining.
Our equipment
includes a 13" x 20" Brown & Sharp
coordinate measurement machine, 24" x 24" Micro-Vu
video sheet metal coordinate measuring machine,
Micro-Vu ShadowGraph measurement machine and
all the necessary thread gages and support equipment.
